Socializing Brand You!

I’ve been invited to be the keynote speaker as part of a speaker series at Edmonton’s MacEwan School of Business on September 17th and I’m really looking forward to it.  Here’s a point form outline of what I’ll be speaking about over 45 minutes.

Socializing Brand You!

  • What is “brand you?”
  • What is the value of engaging in social media?
  • Required “brand you” skills.
  • How Twitter is a “brand you” amplification machine.
  • Understanding and leveraging “micro-tribes.”
  • Integrating social media into business processes.

I look forward to meeting more MacEwan students and faculty at this event and will look to provide as much value in my presentation as I possibly can.  I’m expecting some great questions from the audience and as always I’ll be referring to live Internet case studies and examples.  Also, no seat is safe in the house, I’ll be inviting direct audience participation and could call on anyone at anytime…

    I found you today when “googling” for easy info on linking Twitter and Facebook and your post came up and I have taken the liberty of sending it out to my Facebook Tribe. I appreciate your site/blog entirely and look forward to reading your future posts.

    Will you perchance be recording this presentation that you could provide a podcast of it for the rest of us?

    I would love to be a fly on that wall! Given how much I rally for use of Social Media with my clients. Some do and some are “intimidated” still. And one can’t afford to be.

    “Swallow the Frog” one spiritual master said. In other words, do what you resist when it is good for you.

      Unfortunately we won’t be recording this event, however, we have in the past and will again in the future. I agree with you that there should be a concerted effort to learn more and prepare to engage. Thank-you for commenting.
