Here in Oxford county we have a program called food for friends,We ask every one to donate a quarter(25 cents) every time they visit the grocery store. Out of this fund we are able to issue food cards ,so those in need can go to the grocery store to buy what they need to meet their diets.We do not need a large warehouse to store food or food drives.We also do not need the pay fees that to join a larger organizations.All extra funds saved through our program can go to those that need it most.
